Abstract: | Exploration activities completed during the licence life consisted of helicopter assisted diamond drilling and ground EM traverses. Two diamond holes were completed, core sampled and analysed. Drill hole U65-4 was designed to test a major north-south structure and resistivity structure and was drilled towards the west. The hole intersected unconformity at 178.6m, then upper basement, fault zone from 204.9m to 251 and was terminated at 299.6 m. No anomalous radioactivity was logged. Drill hole U65-5 targeted an interpreted WNW-ESE reverse fault, and was drilled towards the south-southwest to the depth of 215.4m. Some zones of alteration were intersected but there is no anomalous radioactivity recorded. Drilling and geophysical surveys failed to delineate prospective targets within the licence area. |
