Abstract: | The report detail exploration activities during the licence life. Work included surface rock chip sampling, soil auger sampling and geophysical surveys (aerial magnetic, radiometric and gravity) and interpretation and data compilation. During the second year of tenure twelve samples returned anomalous results with a peak grade of 204 ppb. Sampling program during the third year generally was discouraging with only five samples out of 19 assaying over 50 ppb Au. One of these samples assayed 8.8 g/t Au and two others were found to be anomalous with respect to copper (peak 750ppm), lead (3590ppm), and zinc (320ppm) and arsenic (6210ppm). Surface sampling during year four outlined an 800m zone with results greater than 500 ppb Au, the best rock chip result was 1.61g/t Au. A peak value of 250ppb Au was identified from the soil sampling. The peak results correlated with those returned from the rock chip sampling. No field based work has been completed within the Crossbones lease in the year five and the licence was surrendered. |
