Relinquishment report for part of EL 8957 'Highland Rocks'

Abstract

The report details exploration during the reporting period including the interpretation of aeromagnetic data, regolith mapping utilizing Landsat TM and Spot Imagery, and a lag/ rock chip sampling program. In 1997 295 lag samples and 24 rock chip samples were collected. In 1999 two soil traverses were sampled over a zone of arsenic-gold anomaly. No significant results were returned from the coincident geochemical/magnetic target zone. Landsat -7 TM/Pan digital data was acquired and processed. Results from exploration program carried out on the relinquished portion failed to outline any significant areas of anomalous gold values.
