dc.description.abstractFour RC drill holes were drilled to locate good quality dolomite or/and magnesite for the proposed magnesium metal planned on Winchester magnesite prospect. Coomalie Dolomite occurs under fairly thin cover on the east side of the Giants Reef Fault. The lower part of the stratigraphy is fine-grained dolomite that is overlain by coarse magnesite, which doesn't contain talk but low amount of quartz. Further work will aim to locate Coomalie Dolomite/ Whites Formation contact to the west and investigate for base metal and gold mineralisation.en_US
