Annual report for EL 7911 Gardiner Range 10 June 1999 to 9 June 2000

Abstract

EL 7911 was granted to Otter Gold NL on 10 June 1998 for a period of six years. EL 7911 is located some 80 km northwest of the Tanami Mine. The second lease year has come to a close since it was granted to Otter Gold NL (100%). The prospectivity of EL 7911 is enhanced by the proximity (within 20 km) to the Tanami Gold/Glengarry prospects of the Kookaburra cluster and similarities in the aeromagnetic data. Exploration programs during the second licence term have primarily constituted data compilation, and review. Exploration in the second year has been minimal, due principally to adverse weather conditions until April and the need to focus on advanced project areas. A total expenditure for the second year has been over $11,000. A minimum expenditure commitment for the third year is estimated at $ 35,100 pending encouraging results. The exploration efforts during the coming lease year will primarily comprise infill surface sampling and follow up drilling of any anomalous areas.
