Abstract: | This report summarises exploration activities undertaken during the first year of tenure. The work included lag sampling, composite rock chip sampling, aircore and RAB drilling and petrological analysis. At McLeod the results from lag sampling were encouraging with many elements returning anomalous values with a peak values 21 ppb Au and 330 ppm As. These results have highlighted 5 targets. Results from composite rock chip sampling were also good with the best values 37 ppb Au and 280 ppm As. Aircore drilling returned 3m @ 165 ppb Au (MCLAC008) and 3 m @ 3 m 72 ppm As (MCLAC006). At Rameriz best results from the lag sampling were 8 ppb Au. Best results from aircore drilling were 3m @ 11.2ppbAu and 3m @ 90 ppm As (RAMAC023). At Highlander results from Lag sampling were not encouraging and no anomalous results were obtained from composite rock chip sampling and from RAB drilling. Aircore drilling program returned peak results of 20ppb Au (HIAC006) AND 49 PPM As (HIAC002). Lag sampling at Icebox returned best results of 5 ppb Au and 60 ppm As. Best results from composite rock chip samples were 84 ppb Au and 500 ppm Bi and 160 ppm As. Best results from RAB drilling were 3m @ 25 ppb Au (ICR001) and from aircore drilling were 3m @ 96 ppb Au (ICA092) and 3m @ 28 ppm As (ICAC085). No work was conducted over EL9563 ( Lowlander) during the reporting period. |
