Abstract: | Testing of Trout-1 and Trout-2 anomalies in the Troutbeck prospect by RC drilling returned low order gold anomalism with occasional high values associated with quartz veining and sulphide mineralisation. The best results were from hole BTRC003 which returned 8m @ 9.2 g/t Au from 32 metres. The recognition of an association of increased sulphide abundance and the occurrence of chalcopyrite at the contact of metasediments and chloritic rocks has enhanced the understanding of mineralised associations in the area. |
