Eighty three positive samples comprising 72-chromite bearing, 9 micro-diamond and chromite, 1 micro-diamond and 1 with both chromite and picro-ilmenite. In the current year most of the follow up work was completed within eastward extension of the southern loam grid. A total of 40 loam samples collected with 24 reporting positive. Chromite was the main indicator mineral and the results indicate a limitation to the eastern margin of the anomaly. A cluster of highly positive samples was also recognised northeast of the original southern grid. Several smaller loam-sampling programs were completed in the east of EL 7201 but all samples reported negative. An airborne EM and magnetic survey was undertaken in the vicinity of the indicator bearing grids to identify kimberlite style geophysical anomalies. 17 targets were identified followed up by ground reconnaissance and geophysics and 8 targets for drilling were selected. In the northern loam grid further six drill targets were selected. RC drilling of the 14 geophysical anomalies was completed but there were no kimberlite intersected during the drilling and source of the abundant indicator anomalies remain unknown.en_US
