Abstract: | 150 line kilometres of ground magnetics was conducted over a subtle aeromagnetic anomaly along strike from Northern Star. This defined a discrete source at a depth of some 50m. The anomaly was tested by 5 fences of RAB drilling totalling 39 holes and 1691m of drilling. Several highly anomalous copper values were returned as well as several low order gold anomalies (Cu maximum 480ppm, Au maximum 1.6ppb). These anomalies were subsequently attributed to the dolerite intersected due to associate Ni and Co values. |
