dc.description.abstractThe main target of exploration is unconformity related uranium deposits. Exploration efforts were concentrated on the NW corner of EL3597, where geological mapping, rock chip geochemistry, magnetics and radiometrics were undertaken. A 5 hole core drilling programme was sited to test an alteration zone. This zone was not associated with uranium mineralisation. Mapping of the SE portion of EL3597 identified some alteration and some collapse structures but failed to repeat the previous years Cu, Pb, Zn anomalies. In general assays for Au and U were background with some elevation in assays in zones of alteration. Cu and Pb values were at background levels, and elevated Zn values appear associated with dolerite.en_US
