| Abstract: | A ground magnetic survey undertaken within the licence detailed an east-west trending anomaly (maximum 150nT) broadly coincident with the zone of anomalous geochemistry outlined in the previous years exploration. 7 RAB holes totalling 254 m were drilled to test the geochemical-geophysical anomaly. The peak values obtained were 0.033 gpt Au, 60ppm Cu and 3 ppm Bi. The lithology intersected consisted of siltstones and lamprophyre. The geochemical-geophysical signature can be adequately explained by the lamprophyre intrusive. No economic gold mineralisation is likely. |
