dc.description.abstractDuring the 1997/98 exploration season, Northern gold N.L. completed a regional soil sampling program over the western graticular block of EL 8518, targeting a south plunging anticline within the Burrel Creek Formation. A total of 84 samples were collected every 25 metres and composited to 100 meteres, along four 400 metre spaced lines, and submitted to Assaycorp, in Pine Creek for analysis. The results returned were generally disappointing with the highest result returned being 2.1 ppb Au from sample number 116025.en_US
