The exploration licence covers a large area of dolerite dyke swarms. The most intense area of intrusives being near the homestead with an areal extent of 4.5 square kms has been pegged with mineral claims. In hand specimen the samples exhibit an even, deep black colour and exhibit a high degree of polish. Physical tests show the samples to have a high bulk density and a low water adsorption rate indicating that the material is basically sound. Future work is to entail the size of the block that can be extracted, the extent of the deposit etc.en_US
