Abstract

The Adelaide Petroleum/Sabminco joint venture has not carried out any exploration on this tenement during the year. Due to restrictions placed on exploration in respect of the joint ventures main exploration undertaking at Mt. Samuel, the joint venturers have had to withdraw their exploration staff from Tennant Creek. It is considered impractical to recommence exploration in the area until such time as the joint venturers can recommence exploration at Mt Samuel, after negotiating with the new Aboriginal Sacred Sites Authority. Once this occurs, exploration on the joint ventures other tenements at Tennant Creek will be re-approved and exploration will be re-activated. No work was undertaken in the tenement area.
