| Abstract: | Twelve holes were drilled with an Airtrack rig to test a gold- anomalous banded iron formation at Shady Camp anomaly. The drilling method was not entirely satisfactory because of poor sample recovery below 20 metres. The best result was 4m @ 3.09 g/t Au from 19-23m (EOH) in SCD 10. The results are considered inconclusive and a further $ 30,000 expenditure on drilling (using an RC rig is recommended). Also recommended is a $ 25,000 trenching programme to further test 1800m of strike of the prospective BIF east of Shady Camp. |
