Abstract

For reasons noted in the Introduction, work during the year was confined to literature research and preparation of reports for the proposed float. It is estimated that an expenditure of $1,200 was made in this work. Exploration during the second year of the Licence will be targeted at possible gold mineralisation associated with anticlinally folded arenites of the Bunda Grit and basal Limbunya Group. The work programme will include geological photo interpretations, traversing and rock chip sampling, and drainage geochemical sampling for gold taking bulk samples for cyanide leach assays. A BLEG sample density of approximately one sample per square kilometre will be aimed at. Where there is insufficient drainage density soil sampling will be utilised.
