Exploration Licence 5122 is situated approximately 40 kilometres north-north west of Tennant Creek and is located within Phillip Creek pastoral lease. It is accessable via the Stuart Highway to the Northern Star mine turnoff and then west to a north-south trending fence which is approximately the eastern boundary of the EL. Access by vehicle during the rainy season is extremely difficult. No known gold occurrences are recorded within the licence area. However, Proterozoic sediments of the Warramunga Group, host stratigraphy of all gold mines in the Tennant Creek goldfield, have been identified in the eastern and southern central areas of the EL. Companies and organisations which have previously explored the area include: Uranerz Australia Pty Ltd, Nobelex N.L. (for Australian 1)evelopment Limited) and BMR. This report covers work carried out over EL's 5114 and 5122 during the first year of tenure and includes research of previous work, surface rock sampling, regional geological mapping and minor magnetic traverses. Work on EL's 5114 and 5122 during the first year of tenure included;en_US
