Annual Report EL 3471, Mt Paqualin East period ending April 1983.

Abstract

EL 3471 was taken up by Messrs Henry, Walker, Bailey and Wright with the main aim of exploring for alluvial gold deposits. However, a planned drainage survey during March and early April, 1983 was cancelled due to unseasonal late rain. Most exploration work was therefore channelled onto the more accessible EL 3472, also held by Messrs Henry, Walker, Bailey and Wright. Minor work was completed in the south of the EL where a zone of carbonatised greywacke has some potential for hosting metasomatic gold mineralisation and represents a possible source of good quality industrial aggregate.
