Abstract: 1. Garnetiferous skarns bave been developed in calcareous rocks in contact with the Cullen granite near Moline. A subsequent syenite intrusion seems to be related to local regressive metamorphic and metasoinatic effects. 2) Minor scheelite, molybdenite and base metal mineralization occurs at several localities in the calcsilicate rocks, and may show some upgrading near the syeniteintrusions. 3) Surface mapping and sampling, and one drill hole, gave no indication that a substantial body of tungsten mineralization could occur in the leases. A 0.7 m intersection of weak uranium mineralization was encountered in the drill hole.
