Abstract

Only minor fieldwork has been carried out on this EL during the year. This involved field reconnaissance and limited sampling undertaken by N. Byrne prior to WMC involvement. During the latter part of the licence year, any other proposed work was suspended while joint venture negotiations were in progress. Since the inception of the ORM - WMC joint venture, WMC has begun a compilation of regional data for the Tennant Creek area, and as part of this process aeromagnetic and radiometric data have been purchased, with the cost of purchase allocated pro-rata to the thirteen Licences in the joint venture. Aerial photography covefing the licence area is on order and in conjunction with the geophysical surveys and landsat TM imagery, will form the base for regional work to be undertaken in Year 2 of the Exploration Licence.
