Abstract

Only an inspection of the aerial photographs and aeromagnetic data have been conducted on Exploration Licence 5722. It is unlikely that near surface mineralisation exists within the Exploration Licence. Any gold mineralisation is likely to be deep seated, associated with the Warramunga rocks beneath the Helen Springs Formation. Investigative drilling should be conducted to determine the underlying lithologies of the covered ground and to determine the applicability of soil sampling.
