dc.description.abstractDuring the past year detailed geological mapping was carried out using 1:4000 scale photography. Rock-chip samples from quartz veins associated with abandoned gold workings were taken and assayed. Although anomalous gold values were not found, the area is still considered prospective for gold and further exploration will take place.en_US
