Report on year 2 exploration to 20-04-1988.

Abstract

Exploration during the second year of tenure of EL4902 was restricted to detailed mapping and sampling in the vicinity of the single significantly auriferous outcrop sample located during the first years of exploration. Although only three gold values of 1g/t or over were returned most assays were greater than 0.lg/t. Also significant is the very high arsenic content of most samples. This is up to 5.76% with over 60% of samples over l000 ppm. Proposed drill testing of the area was postponed due to unavailability of a rig but will proceed during Year 3. A stream sediment sampling programme with analyses primarily for arsenic is proposed over the rest of the EL.
