Annual Report EL 4511 Flaming Fury period ending 08/01/1986.

Abstract

Exploration licence EL 4511 is adjacent to the Woodcutters mineral leases which are held by Nicron Resources Limited and Petrocarb Exploration NL in joint venture with Lachlan Resources NL. Lead and zinc sulphide mineralisation is being mined by the joint venture on the Woodcutters leases, and fed to an on site milling facility. Exploration on EL 4511 is aimed at providing additional lead and zinc ore for processing through the Woodcutters mill. Exploration on EL 4511 is to follow the sequence; evaluation of existing data, geochemical sampling of target areas, review of geochemical data, cross referenced

to the geochemistry/ore occurrence history of the Woodcutters ore bodies and drilling. The licences have made major commitments to the development of the Woodcutters venture during the reporting period. Exploration activity on the adjacent EL 4511 was restricted to data evaluation and preliminary reconnaissance. Information on the geochemistry/ore occurrence relationships within the Woodcutters area is being assessed.
