| Abstract: | Exploration Licence 4226, in the Howley area, was operated by Hunter Resources Ltd, under a joint venture agreement with Northern Gold NL between March 1983 and February 1985. Hunter carried out a hardrock costeaning programme and drilled two reverse circulation holes. Encouraging results were returned and further work is recommended. Northern Gold NL conducted a preliminary alluvial testing programme over the area and further work is recommended. |
