Final report for EL 1605 and EL 1073 Bynoe Harbour

Abstract

Exploration for tin and tantalum continued during the 1982 field season with Greenbushes Tin Limited acting as the operator in a joint venture with Vultan Minerals Limited. Previous exploration within the licence areas concentrated on cut cropping pegmatite dykes found to contain tin and tantalum mineralization. As these obvious target areas were systematically tested a more sophisticated exploration approach utilizing geochemical sampling and evaluation techniques were applied primarily in the search for non outcropping pegmatite dykes.
