dc.description.abstractThe exploration program for tin and tantalite initiated in 1979 continued during the 1980 field season with Greenbushes Tin NL as operator in a joint venture with Vultan Minerals Ltd. The program consisted of; 1. Surveying and construction of a baseline and individual prospect grids. 2. Power auger sampling of alluvials and weathered pegmatites. 3. Costeaning, pitting and sampling to define mineralized pegmatites. 4. Reduction of samples to a heavy mineral concentrate. 5. Mineralogical examination and XRF analyses of concentrates. 6. Collation of information. Further exploration is planned for the 1981 field season.en_US
