Diamond drilling program IV, TC8 Prospect, EL 357 'Eldorado'

Abstract

Two separate programmes of diamond drilling totalling 9000 feet were carried out on E.L?s. 357 and 234 during August December, 1972. The initial programme of 4500 feet was the result of proposals detailed in the report on E.L?s. 357 and 234 and tested magnetic interpretations on TC 2, TC 3, TC 8, TC 11 and WT 1. TC 12 was drilled following the results of drilling on. TC 8. The second programme followed up results obtained from the first programme on prospects TC 3, TC 8 and TC 12. As a result of this work, only prospects TC 8 and TC 3 remain as worthwhile targets for future investigation.
