During the first year a regional gravity survey, comprising of 849 stations at 2 km x 2 km, was completed. Reconnaissance rock chip and soil sampling did not indicate anomalism. Three programs of vacuum drilling were completed which resulted in four broad Au, As, Sb, Bi geochemical patterns being recognised, each with supporting structural, magnetic and gravity features ie Emperor 1-4. Regolith mapping was also completed. During year two, the Emperor 1 and 2 anomalies were evaluated further with an helimag survey and two gravity profiles. Further vacuum/aircore drilling identified the Emperor 5 to 7 anomalies. During year 3, minor rock chip sampling was completed with a maximum result of 178 ppb Au, obtained. Orientation lag sampling over the Emperor 3 and 7 anomalies, with encouraging results obtained at both ie 175 and 109 ppb Au. A reconnaissance MMI sampling exercise failed to indicate any anomalism. Infill drilling was completed at Emperor 3, 6 and 7 prospects, although some anomalism was obtained further drilling in these areas failed to repeat the initial results. In addition a helimag was completed over Emperor 3 prospect and 2 ground magnetic surveys. During year four further lag and soil sampling was completed with discouraging results obtained. Re-assays of previously assayed pulps indicated similar results as the original ones. Aircore drilling at Emperor 7 was completed with some arsenic anomalism obtained. In general the bedrock at this location is covered by a substantial depth of transported material, bedrock that was intersected indicates that the grade of metamorphism was greater than expected.en_US
