Final report on EL 8706

Abstract

High resolution aeromagnetics was purchased and used in conjunction with geological mapping, simultaneously in the first year 108 stream sediment were collected with a major anomalous value obtained ie 48 ppb Au. Soil sampling was completed along grid lines and a narrow corridor of gold anomalism was indicated over 800 m. During Acacia's management further soil samples were obtained by posthole and/or shallow RAB drilling, although some isolated high results ie 1070, 140, 130 ppb Au were obtained no coherent trend was recognised. Five percussion holes intersected low grade mineralisation, up to 0.47 g/t Au.
