SEL 9437 Batchelor, Northern Territory Second Relinquishment Report to 12 May 1999

Abstract

Part of the area relinquished was held under the predecessor. EL's 6988 and 8027 and work completed under geological traversing, rock ship and stream sediment sampling, results were low. During the SEL tenure, soil sampling was completed on a 400 x 50 metre grid and the samples were analysed for 15 elements by partial digest, some low level basemetal are indicated in the northern poriton of the licence. The area was also covered by an aeromagnetic and radiometric survey.
