Summary surrender report exploration licences 5337. For the period 12 May 1989 - 11 May 1999

Abstract

The licence was covered in the first year by an aeromagnetic/radiometric survey and highlighted anomaly A, DR401, DR403 and DR408. Ground magnetics was completed over 6 prospects whilst ground EM was completed 5 areas also 250 rock chip, 9 stream samples were collected. 11 shallow RC holes were completed at Knowles Farm Prospect. In year two an airborne EM was completed and an additional 6 new targets were cognised, ground magnetics and EM were also completed over specific targets. Regional sampling was completed and included rock ship; stream, soil sampling, vacuum drilling. Anomaly A was RC and diamond drilling by 4 holes. A dowhhole EM survey was completed on one corehole. During year 3 an additional 4 holes were completed at anomaly A and at Knowles Farm with further dowhole EM and magnetics conducted. Regional vacuum drilling was completed in years 4 and 5 desktop studies were completed. Hence the licence was acquired by Troy Resources ffurther desktop studies were completed whilst access was being negotiated with Aboriginal Groups.
