| Abstract: | 39 heavy mineral stream sediment samples were collected in year 1 with 2 samples containing non-kimberlitic chromites. A further 11 samples were collected in year 2 however no indicator minerals were obtained. Two regional aeromagnetic surveys were completed, analysis of this data indicated a small anomaly that was covered by a 50 m line spaced aeromagnetic survey, this dipole anomaly was tested three TC holes, each of which terminated in basalt. Only two samples contained chromites of non-kimberlitic affinity. |
