dc.description.abstractA detailed aeromagnetic survey was completed over part of the relinquished ground. The tenement was in part evaluated by a regional geological assessment. Some Gardiner Sandstone was found outcropping in the west and the remainder of the area is covered by Quaternary sediments. In addition the tenement was evaluated by regional soil sampling and lag sampling. Lag sample results were low with an isolated high value of 3ppb Au obtained, whilst the soil sampling returned two values greater than 1ppb ie 1.2 and 2.2ppb Au in adjacent samples.en_US
