Pine Creek group of tenements EL's 8037, 8545, 8893, 9127, 9466 group annual report for the year ended 27th June 1998, Henson, Extended North, Burrundie Siding, Amadeus, Jupiters

Abstract

No work was completed on EL's 8545, 8893. Within EL9466 seven stream sediment samples were collected, poor results have been obtained. In EL8037, soil sampling was conducted at 25m spacing along lines 400m apart with 345 samples collected. Results indicate a weak linear gold anomaly with the better assay being 267ppb Au. This was followed up with infill soil sampling with the line spacing closed to 200m, and vacuum drilling where necessary. Results verified the original trend of the Au anomaly. Within EL9127 a small soil sample program was completed in the southwest corner to test the strike extension of an anomalous zone from the adjacent tenement. Results obtained were low, ie. all less than 3ppb Au. Part of the tenement was covered by a detailed aeromagnetic survey.
