EL 8230 - Copperfield annual report 08-02-1997 to 07-02-1998

Abstract

The Peel anomaly evaluated by soil sampling on a grid basis which returned isolated low gold anomalism with some elevated arsenic anomalism. This was tested of 8 shallow RC holes to 50m, all assays recovered were below detection except for PPRC3 which returned 0.13ppm Au from 2 to 4m. The East Copperfield anomaly was evaluated by soil sampling on a grid basis with two minor low order gold anomalism obtained with no associate arsenic anomalism. No further work is anticipated at the Peel prospect area however the three minor gold anomaly at the East Copperfield Prospect is to be followed up by geological reconnaissance and dip anomaly, and if results warrant it, additional infill soil sampling.
