EL 9050 Fenton East final report

Abstract

EL 9050 was located in the Fenton area 150 kilometres south of Darwin and 60 kilometres west of Pine Creek. The licence was taken up by North Mining Limited in 1994 to secure the projected SE extension of a magnetic anomaly centred on adjacent EL 7331, which had been the focus of earlier exploration by North. During the term of the licence, exploration was restricted to reinterpretation of previously acquired aeromagnetic data as results from drill holes completed in adjacent titles came to hand. No physical exploration was conducted on the ground within the licence area. Details of the aeromagnetic survey are included. As there was no exploration on the ground there has been no environmental disturbance to rehabilitate.
