Abstract

Work undertaken during the second year of the licence was to check anomalies outlined during the first year of work. Two of the gold stream sediment anomalies were confirmed by repeat sampling. Rock chip sampling failed to locate a bedrock source, however, white quartz veining was noted. It is believed that this veining though barren in the samples collected is the source of the stream sediment anomalies. The lead anomaly was followed up by rock chip sampling and geological mapping. A grab sample taken from a quartz vein cross cutting the quartz ridge returned a value of 12g-t silver and 1.39% lead which was then rechecked minor scattered pods of mineralisation occur.
