Work programmes carried out by Newmont to test the northern extensions at Anomaly 7 and Donkey Hill have failed to find economic mineralisation. As the drilling and costeaning programmes completed over Anomaly 7 and Donkey Hill, in the preceding year, indicated only discontinuous low grade mineralisation these prospects are seriously down graded. While work completed on the northern end of the Annaburroo Dome by Carpentaria Gold Pty Ltd gives no indication of mineralisation along strike. The work programmes completed to date have adequately tested the most prospective areas of the licence and therefore Newmont should relinquish EL 6582.en_US
