dc.description.abstract257 heavy mineral reconnaissance samples were collected. Most samples contained chromites. 7 samples returned garnets which are believed to have kimberlitic affinities though morphology suggests they were derived from a secondary source. Follow up consisted of 86 samples. 5 kimberlitic garnets were recovered. These samples were randomly throughout the infill area supporting a secondary source. A small airborne magnetic survey failed to outline any anomalies indicative of a kimberlitic diatreme.en_US
