Exploration work on the Highland Rocks project aimed at identifying structurally controlled gold mineralisation within Palaeoproterozoic metamorphic rocks. Site clearance was granted early September 1998 and a RAB drilling program commenced after that date with most of the holes being within ELs 8951, 8936, 8950, this was supported by lag sampling in areas with suitable source material. Some rock chipping was also completed. Only 5 gold results were obtained that were considered anomalous ie 4 to 900ppb Au, with associated copper and arsenic anomalous. Only one lag sample was anomalous ie 9ppb Au.en_US
