On the basis of the preliminary reconnaissance program it is concluded that EL 9041 has potential for perhaps 20 million tonnes of ironstone averaging >50% Fe and <20% SiO2 in the northern and central areas. The western belt appears to be lower grade and more silicious although tonnages are potentially much greater. After due consideration it was decided to surrender the EL due mainly to its location in relation to others held by the licensee and the ongoing costs to retain the lease considering the overall grade of the deposit.en_US
