Abstract: Outstanding results from 1996-97 program returned 30 positive results, 27 showing microdiamonds, 2 with microdiamonds and chromite and 1 with kimberlitic chromite. The latter sample result was followed up with 15 loam samples taken at 50m spacing on a local grid, five samples returned microdiamonds. In addition the area was covered by an EM-34 survey and a vegetation sample survey. Three geochemical anomalies were delineated and were drilled by a total of 7 RAB holes, no kimberlitic material was observed and fourteen drill spoil samples were sent for analysis, results are awaited. Although there is a widespread occurrence of microdiamonds in the tenement area, there is an absence of conventional indicator minerals which may suggest a dispersion from a secondary source. 7.7 line km EM-34
