dc.description.abstractThe tenement is targeted for ironstone within the Sherwin Ironstone Member. The unit was rock chip sampled at 16 localities over a strike length of +/- 22kms. The western area has 100-500m of subcrop extending for 13km. 7 samples from the area has a variable Fe content of 27.7 to 46% Fe and a high Si02 content ie 20.8-47.9%. The central area was sampled of 5 samples with an Fe content varying from 38.7% to 53.2% and an Si02 content 13.65% to 35.5%. In the NE area 2 samples were taken with an average Fe content of 50.8% and 17% Si02.en_US
