dc.description.abstractThis report covers the first year of tenure and exploration on 'Kukalak' EL 3421. As exploration is only possible during the dry season this report covers a 7 week period of essentially regional work carried out in late 1987 and a portion of the work completed during the first full season of field work in 1988. Work carried out includes regional and detailed gravity, airborne geophysics (magnetics and radiometrics), geological mapping, geochemical surveys and stream sediment sampling. Results suggest that EL 3421 has strong similarities to the East Alligator region which contains the uranium deposits known so far.en_US
