| Abstract: | EL 4157 was held by C D Ronan to test magnetic anomalies in the Koolpin and asociated formations. This final and annual report alludes to previous reports, but these are not held by the Department. Also some details such as magnetic maps and assays from 1983 and 1984 sampling are acknowledged as missing from the final report. In the final year of exploration, magnetic anomalies were tested by costeaning and rockchip sampling. One sample returned 0.255 ppm Au and 24.5 ppm Ag. In the opinion of the author, overall assay data were not sufficiently encouraging but at least one geophysical drill target remains untested. |
