dc.description.abstractInitially, exploration focused on barite but when one of the barite lodes to the north of this EL was found to contain galena, emphasis shifted to a base metal search. Anomalous lead and zinc samples were obtained from the adjoining EL 235. EL 574 was traversed by vehicle and on foot. Ground traversing was curtailed by rain. No barite was located on EL 574. On further examination, all samples collected were deemed not worth assaying for base metals.en_US
