Abstract: | Work undertaken during the year ending 07-12-1991 included gridding trenching, geological mapping, logging old diamond drill core and RC percussion drilling. Drilling confirmed that the Faded Lily lodes are dominantly subvertical SSW dipping sheet quartz veins sets plunging ESE 35', mineralization consists of gold quartz-pyrite (limonite-arsenopyrite-scorodite) association over a strike length of 600m within-adjacent to the axis of the anticline. The most significant intercept was 39m at 2.93g-t Au (BKRC030). This result remains to be checked. Drill testing if surface mineralization at Alligator and Crocodile has shown donw dip continuity. Drilling at John Bull failed to indicate stock work mineralization or down dip continuity. |
