Abstract: | Mapping highlighted a quartz ridge of over 800m length traversing MCN's 335 and 336 with a strike of 330 degrees and an average width of 0.5m. Sulphides are common within the vein with coarse grained galena, arsenopyrite and pyrite recognisable. Rock chip sample taken from the quartz ridge were encouraging with a best value of 7.49g-t Au and strong anomalous values for Pb, Ag, and As. Drilling significantly downgraded the potential for the area to host economic gold mineralisation. |
