Ls 5058 and 5084 are held to explore for limestone suitable to supply ELC's lime kiln south of Mataranka. Eupene Consultants carried out exploration involving surface sampling and the drilling of one RC drillhole to 15 m. Blocks to the west of the Stuart Highway were relinquished because, although evidence suggested the area was underlain by limestone it is mainly under the water table. The blocks on the eastern side of EL 5084 were also relinquished. Although limestone there is of good quality, a quarry would have no geographic advantage over the current quarry.en_US
